Who we are
Boltage is a registered trademark of Shelfless (Pty) Ltd, a South African company. We sell high-quality consumer electronics: powerbanks, wall and car chargers, charging cables, and cellphone accessories.
Why we do this
Staying charged in South Africa is not a convenience question. Between load-shedding, long commutes and a phone that runs your banking, your maps and your work, running flat is a genuine problem. The market responded with a flood of cheap accessories that overstate what they can do, and most people have owned at least one powerbank that claimed 20 000 mAh and struggled to charge a phone twice.
We started Boltage to sell the other kind. Products we would hand to a family member, described in numbers that hold up.
What we stand for
- Honest specifications. A powerbank’s cell capacity and what actually reaches your phone are two different numbers, and conversion losses are real. We would rather explain that than quietly print the bigger figure.
- Real stock, held locally. We are not drop-shipping from overseas. If the site says an item is in stock, it is on our shelf and it goes out the same day.
- Support that answers. Ask us before you buy if you are unsure whether a charger suits your device. We would rather spend five minutes on a question than process a return.
- Returns without a fight. Our returns policy is more generous than the law requires, and we apply it in the spirit it was written.
